Hi! I'm Athena, California born and raised. I speak Spanish and Italian and am an avid language learner myself. My specialities include helping students to not only feel more comfortable speaking, but more confident in their skills so they can move beyond and truly start to express themselves. I love preparing students for their exams as well (college entrance, IELTS, Cambridge, etc.)

I completed my CELTA in July 2018 and have been teaching English ever since. I use their methodology of immersive teaching, which helps students out of their comfort zone and gets them expressing themselves and improving right away. I've helped over 100 students of all ages prepare for their exams (Cambridge in particular).
