Hallo my name is teacher James from South Africa. I have been teaching English HL and FAL for 35 years to high school pupils. My passion has always been to teach pupils to speak, read and write English focusing on pronunciation, tone and the correct accent. I am very interested in people's personal stories and the various cultures in which they live and work. I am passionate about building healthy, mutually beneficial working relationships, equipping them with language skills.

On a personal level I love to listen to various genres music depending on my mood. I play guitar as well. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Throughout the many years of teaching English i have consistently had very good results and have managed to help my pupils reach their full personal potential.

I have been teaching English for 35 years, covering the disciplines of comprehension, vocabulary, language, oral and reading. I have 3 degrees focusing on English teaching, Psychology and Geography. My teaching methodology is a variation of many methods of which interaction and demonstration and narration are but a few. The pupil's level and personality will determine the kind of method I would use. Always taking into account the speed that each pupil is comfortable. I believe in repetition and letting the pupil or student feel comfortable, never placing any pupil In an uncomfortable position. Together we will reach our goals.
