Hello everyone!

My name is Ken, originally from Tokyo.

I speak English, Spanish, and Japanese. I had various experiences which might help you with your area of interests. I am teaching japanese 30008 hours, and counting.

I have taught Japanese for many years, both in universities and high schools, Japanese companies, Japanese associations/schools and private classes/home tutoring, in more than six Summer Olympic terms and in several countries.

I have used several textbooks, such as "Minna no Nihongo" (Basic Level I L.1-L.25, Basic Level II L.26-L.50), "Genki" (I L.1-L.12, II L.13-L.23), "Marugoto" (A1 L.1-L.18, A2-1 L.1-L.18, A2-2 L.1-L.18), "Basic Kanji Book " (Vol.1 L.1-L.22, Vol.2 L.23-L.45), and others, to teach Japanese using Spanish, to more than 3000 students.

I have also worked in several international Japanese companies, so I can teach business Japanese.

In addition, I have translated books.

Since I was young, I have practiced pronunciation for actors in Japan and various countries, so I can teach Japanese with clear and easy-to-understand pronunciation for beginners. However, I can also speak in ways that are harder to understand on purpose or with emotions for advanced students.

I am a member of SAG-AFTRA (Screen and Television Actors Guild of America and Federation of Radio Artists), with an honorable withdrawal.

My teaching style is based on following the textbook.

In the past, I have taught elementary students, but I don't like to continually teach children who don't understand grammar just by reading picture books every day and feel no progress in their Japanese skill.
