Hello! My name is Kjetil (which means 'helmet' in the old norse viking language). I am Norwegian, but I like travelling so my home is forever moving.

I love languages, and can speak quite a few on different levels. I also love learning and teaching, and to combine that with language instruction is just perfect for me.

I hope to share my passion with you, and to make your journey into the Norwegian language as fun and effective as possible.

I started teaching as a ski and climbing instructor when I was 17 years old. Now I'm 57, so that's 40 years of experience already!

I love to make every learning experience as practical and goal-oriented as possible. I teach on a need-to-know basis, and adjust every class to the student's personal needs and wishes.

Since I have learned many languages myself, I have developed a sense for what a beginner (or intermediate) learner needs.

In addition, I have studied teaching methodology and psychology at university level, and I am a certified high school teacher in Norway. I also have certificates as an instructor in skiing and climbing.

I am a certified massage therapist, and have more than 20 years of experience from teaching massage. I am currently the headmaster and main teacher of the leading massage school in Norway.
