Hello everybody!

My name is Pablo. I'm from Uruguay and I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in Spanish studies from the University of Lyon 2. I work as a private tutor teaching French and Spanish in Montevideo, Uruguay.

I teach spanish , culture, and literature in an environment that fosters open communication, encouragement, and mutual respect. I include games, workshops and focus on the student's needs and wants adapting my resourcess.

I have more than five years of experience in language teaching for foreigners. My mother tongue is Spanish and I learned English as a child (I have the First Certificate) and French by living and studying in France (Language and Litterature).

The way I teach depends on the student and his or her goals. Conversation classes will be more varied with different cultural topics and without the use of a manual. The focus is more on practicing the language and a variety of topics can be covered, whether they are cultural, current affairs, scientific or other topics, accompanied by games and activities.

For students who are looking to pass exams I recommend focusing on a manual that will provide us with a work structure for our class and at the same time complement specific aspects through exercises or activities provided by me.

I also work with students who seek a more creative and active approach to language learning, such as through writing, drawing, music appreciation, reading, or film analysis.
