About the tutor

Hello, my name is Ada short for Adanma, I am a Nigerian and also resident in Nigeria. I am from the Igbo tribe, so I grew up listening, learning and speaking Igbo language as well as observing omenala ndi' Igbo.

My Bachelors' is in Biochemistry but I am currently a Communication Specialist probably because I like to play with words😂🤣, also part of the reasons I enjoy tutoring.

My specialty includes Igbo language for beginners, conversational Igbo and Igbo language for travel purposes.

I teach all age categories, so come as you are and depending on your Igbo level and age, we can either have conversations, role plays, storytelling, presentations, songs and any spontaneous creative thoughts that pops into my head.

Learning a new language requires patience, dedication and confidence, that is why I can easily switch from being your teacher, to your motivational speaker/confidence booster.

My hobbies include travelling, music, learning new cultures, making friends and meditation.

I have 5 years of teaching experience both as a classroom teacher and an online/offline tutor.

My certifications include a 120-Hour TESOL Certificate and a United Nations certificate of recognition for my role as an Igbo Language Instructor in the China Africa Peace Initiative.

Igbo Language is a proverbial language with a little bit of complexity, so to learn Igbo, a beginner will need to start from the basics. My methods involves teaching & breaking down every Igbo syntax and grammatical structure to make it easier for a student to understand each alphabet, word or sentence.

And as progress is made, I introduce Igbo dialogues, reading, listening & conversations to sharpen the students' Igbo language skills.

But how would you know if all of what I have written on here is true if you don't give me a chance to prove it via a trial class?🙏

Please don't move on from my profile just yet, kindly send me a message so we can discuss whatever your concerns are.🤞

Thank you for taking time to go through my profile, I honestly hope it doesn't end in you just viewing it, as that would be heartbreaking but regardless I appreciate the effort 🤝
