About the tutor

I am an enthusiastic, patient people-person who loves meeting and getting to know new people.

I have lived in London, UK for my entire and have just begun my teaching career. Having just completed my 120-hour TEFL course, I am so excited to help people from across the globe learn to speak English.

I taught English to children in Rio de Janeiro and have mentored younger colleagues throughout my career. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and am keen to teach on a more full time basis.

I love to build up a strong rapport and can talk about pretty much any topic. I also studied English literature at AS level so have a strong grasp of grammar. So if you're looking to develop your conversational skills through to your grammar, I can help.

After graduating from Bristol with a Politics degree, I worked in marketing for brands such as Haagen-Dazs ice cream for over 5 years so am very capable with Business English too.

I want to make sure my lessons are tailored to meet your specific motivations so will carry out a needs analysis prior to lessons.

I love using a range of resources and exercises to improve all your skills, from reading to listening, and keep lessons dynamic.

I aim to not only help you learn English but also have a laugh along the way!

I am well travelled and enjoy cooking, reading and watching wacky documentaries. I adore films and try and watch a variety from different genres. I studied Politics and try to keep up with current events. My guilty pleasure is keeping up with Pop Culture news too. I love to talk about these topics but also learn from other people and hear about their opinion on these topics. I enjoy hearing about what other people get up to and what they love to do too!
