Hi! My name is Daisy and I am a native Portuguese speaker. As a Brazilian, I can help my students when it comes to daily conversations and popular expressions frequently used by Brazilians. I can teach you about grammar rules, vocabulary, Brazilian culture, and anything else you would like to learn. I worked as an English teacher at a Language Course for four months. Therefore, I know how to deal with and communicate with students when learning a foreign language.

Usually, I use Brazilian content, such as music, texts, and movies, to make the lessons more exciting and for you to have contact with Brazilian culture in some other ways.

Also, I give you activities about what we study in our lessons for you to practice at home.

Portuguese for beginners
I've been teaching beginners on Preply for two years. Therefore, I acquired lots of experience and I have developed specific lessons and materials for beginners.
Conversational Portuguese
I had lessons with students whose goals were only improving their speaking skills. For that reason, I adapted my lessons to my students' needs. When I teach conversational Portuguese I choose a topic for us to talk about and also use listening materials.
Portuguese for children
I have experience teaching Brazilian and foreign kids. Thus, I build the entire lesson using materials of my own since teaching kids reacquires more attention. I worked with kids at an English Course for 4 years, consequently, I developed a good communication with them.
