Enthusiastic Philosophy Teacher
I'm a philosopher and theologian trained at the University of Amsterdam. I have been teaching Ethics at the Free University of Amsterdam for many years, and I also taught more than 5 years on the Internet.
I have received a doctorate from the University of Amsterdam in Humanities for a dissertation on the development of Christian Ethics.
I like to teach the history of European Philosophy, starting with the pre-Socratics, up to and including Hegel, and Modern European philosophy - Levinas and Heidegger. I like to work with students who go on a journey together with me through the history of Philosophy, to find their own authentic "thinking voice."
I can also teach Dutch - 3 years experience.
