Hello! My name is Lucía and I'm from Argentina. I'm a native Spanish speaker. I have a University degree on Language Teaching. I have been teaching English for 8 years already and Spanish for 4. I consider myself flexible, dynamic and didactic in delivering a lesson. I plan my lessons in a unique way for each student, according to age and needs. I follow a communicative method involving the development of the 4 language skills and following a progressive acquisition of the language.

I've taught kids, adolescents, adults and I enjoy doing it. I'm eager to keep on learning from my students as well.

I also work at a Cambridge Primary School in Argentina; so I have specific experience with young students and kids in the experience with another language.

I offer conversational lessons, levelling lessons from beginners to proficient students (any age), business Spanish and preparation for SIELE, DELE and CELU examinations. I am also keen on literature and I deliver literature analysis lessons.

Regarding kids, I propose lessons that are quite different from adults'. I teach through games, songs and stories. I believe it is very important that children can work with their hands, particularly when they don't know how to read, so the interactive activities with the screen and with printed activities are a key component.

I like my lessons to be varied in the activities and my students to enjoy learning the language, so I make an effort to provide for that.

I started my experience as a teacher back in 2016 with English, as I studied at University to become a professor.

I'm currently a graduated Language Professor from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. I am always studying and learning new theories of teaching and methodologies to make the learning experience more appealing and efficient for students, in all ages and with different needs.

I don't usually teach Spanish in the traditional way, meaning: lists of verbs with grammatical rules to learn by heart. I believe in the learning and acquisition of a language in a more natural and appealing way; this is what I include and propose in my lessons: variety, dynamicity, interaction and the students involved in their own learning process.
