1. WHO AM I

I was born and raised in Korea. I am currently living in Daegu, though I frequently visit Australia. I have been teaching Korean for 7 years and can speak both Korean and English. I am interested in learning different cultures and languages and currently learning Romanian and Vietnamese.

2. TEACHING STYLE

Rather than teaching textbook grammar, my focus is to assist you to build confidence to converse with other people like a native Korean.

We will still learn grammar and vocabulary, in a way which you can apply in various environments and conversations.

And since Korean has a different grammatical structure than English, have confidence you will learn easily and also learn correct pronunciation through conversational teaching style.

3. WHY ME

I am very passionate about seeing my student’s progression. It brings me joy when my students share with me how they understood Korean when they watch KDrama, listen to Kpop or their interaction with locals during their visit to South Korea.

My focus is to teach Korean with accuracy to ensure my students have confidence in their Korean. In my lesson, we don’t just learn Korean, we also discuss Korean Social and Culture.

I believe the best way of learning is an interactive 2-way dialogue. And to create a fun and productive lesson, I tailor the lessons based on my student’s interests.
