Hi! I am an Italian 22-years-old university student. I come from Milan, Northern Italy, and I have been giving language courses online since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have studied European Studies in the Netherlands and I am currently living in Berlin for my master's degree in Energy Transition and Governance.

Travelling around Europe has opened my horizons and mentality, but it also made me realize how special my home country Italy and my language are. I decided to put the passion I use to talk about my origins into teaching, which is why I registered here on Preply to teach Italian.

I believe that to learn a new language, speaking is essential. Even though grammar is important, the main objective of knowing a language is to be understood, and this can be practised only by communicating. Therefore, my classes are usually divided in half: the first half where the student and I talk about daily life and the second half where the student decides a particular grammar rule and a specific topic we should talk about.

If you book a trial lesson with me, we can get to know each other, discuss what your objectives for the following lessons are and why you chose to start studying Italian. Based on this, we can work on a special schedule and programme to work with.
