Hello, my name is Justen and I've been teaching English online for over 4 years. I grew up traveling which gave me the opportunity to appreciate many different cultures and gave me the skills to positively engage with many different people. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, I began working for a tutoring company, where I taught many subjects in English. Now, I have fully transitioned online and have developed a conversational approach that allows students to practice English in a dynamic and interesting way.

The two characteristics that truly define my approach to teaching are patience and determination. Patience is needed in order to make the student feel that there are no wrong questions and that repetition is key. Determination is what drives me to make sure that the student gets the most out of every minute spent during a lesson and to help the student achieve their goals. Lastly, I think it's fundamental to see each student as an individual with unique characteristics and for this reason, I aim to adapt each lesson accordingly.
