In my 40+ years of being a native Spanish-speaker I'm still amazed by the cultural phenomenon of "Hispanoamérica". There's a thread that goes from Spain and into every Latin American country, joining our nations under wonderful similarities. This enriches all of us.

I love knowing about our different vocabularies, myths, customs, traditions, music, poetry... It would be my pleasure to teach you about this common ground that stretches from the Yucatan Peninsula, to the South Pole, and all the way across the Atlantic.

Colombia and my home country, Venezuela, are next to each other and there's a lot of cultural exchange between our two nations.

Although I've never lived there, I have friends in Colombia, have worked with people from there and even had a Colombian girlfriend at one point. It's a great, warm country with a rich, friendly culture.
