Swedish for students without any previous knowledge. We focus on building up the grammar and basic vocabulary plus useful everyday expressions. Focus on proper pronunciation! :)

We will focus on conversation based on agreed ares of improvement. Learn how to communicate in a way that is suitable in Swedish society. I will provide tips and short cuts into spoken Swedish to boost your confidence - no more switching to English! :)

Here's the funny thing - learning a language is a non-linear experience. At this point some of us hit a wall. According to the classic approach towards language learning, improving your skills at this level is about learning more vocabulary. This can never be a bad idea, of course. But I will challenge this as the main issue - at this point many learners struggle with personal barriers - whether this is about confidence, perceived ideas about blockages or errors - the first step here is to identity what is in your way of expressing yourself with calm and ease, in a way that makes you feel like... yourself! We all make mistakes, the goal to building relationship and communicate efficiently is not about not making mistakes (although I will be telling you if you keep making the same mistake over and over again - because this is fixable!). Use me as that person that will tell you where you are struggling, what we can improve. And yes, I will tell you if your pronunciation causes embarrassing associations - because your friends or co-workers won't :)

Learn how to communicate efficiently within business circles - which in Sweden is different than in other (even nearby) countries. We will focus on clarity, precision and boost the good ol' grammar! :).

Children are my favourites :) We will learn Swedish from scratch or practice conversation. I will share fun shows with you - learning by playing, being silly and also with help from some beautiful Swedish children's classics. This course is also available for adults!! :)

We will read classic and contemporary gems within Swedish literature and poetry and watch interviews with Swedish writers as a foundation for discussion about the bigger, more existential topics in life.
