HEJ!

Mi chiamo Gunnar e vengo da Uppsala, in Svezia. Attualmente vivo in Cina, dove ho trascorso la maggior parte degli ultimi otto anni. Sono un'appassionata viaggiatrice, performer e cantante, e mi piace anche incontrare persone di paesi, culture e background diversi, impari sempre qualcosa di nuovo in questo modo. Qual è la tua storia, vuoi condividerla con me? ;)

Ho sei anni di esperienza nell'insegnamento dell'inglese in Cina, principalmente in classe, ma anche online. Il mio obiettivo principale come insegnante è rendere l'insegnamento il più interattivo possibile, con un focus predominante sul far parlare attivamente i miei studenti in tutte le situazioni.

Imparare una nuova lingua può essere intimidatorio e stressante, quindi lavoro attivamente anche per rendere le lezioni giocose e divertenti, in modo che sia più facile ricordarle ;)

No knowledge of Swedish whatsoever? No problem!
I will take you by the hand and teach you the basics, while also aiming to help you have simple conversations as soon as possible. We will work on grammar as time progresses, without focusing on it to the point where it gets exhausting and boring. You'll be able to say several simple sentences already after the first lesson ;)
Svedese orale
Have a problem with Swedes switching to English just because your Swedish isn't 100% perfect?
Don't worry, I won't ever do that. There are countless students who know quite a bit of vocabulary in Swedish, but have very little experience in speaking. Does that sound like you?
If the answer is yes, don't worry, we will work together to help you connect the dots, and ensure that your ability to hold a conversation will improve with every lesson. Not to mention, it's gonna be lots of fun ;)

Got a big test or interview coming up? Or do you just want to get great and FAST?
I will help you simulate the setting you're gonna be in, to help you both with what you're gonna say and with overcoming anxiety. If you so desire, it will be like a boot camp, getting you ready to overcome whatever challenges you're up against.
If you just want to learn and make progress fast, I'll make sure you'll be living, eating, breathing and sweating Swedish for every minute of the class. Before you know it, all is gonna be a cakewalk for you, and you'll look back at your progress with pride and amazement.
But of course, have no fear, you'll still get to decide just how intense you want it to be ;)
