Unless the student has a specific need for a different approach, all my lessons are based on a conversational approach. I want you to learn to actually use the language, not just passively understand it.

I've taught one-to-one and group lessons for all levels of the corporate structure. I've done a bit of everything, from basic communication lessons for general employees, to highly specialized one-to-one courses for executives and CEOs. I'm experienced in a wide range of industries, including legal, financial, marketing, and pharmaceutics.

I was an IELTS examiner for 9 years, assessing and conducting over 6,000 exams.

I love teaching absolute beginners.

I'm originally from the US myself, so am naturally familiar with American English. However, I received my Master's degree in Education in Scotland and have lived outside the US for over 20 years, so I'm familiar with the wide range of Englishes that are spoken all over the world.

I'm flexible with my schedule and can accommodate students who want to learn English quickly.
